It was great meeting you last night and the rest of the team. Thank you for organising a fantastic evening of ghosthunting for us. I know everyone had areally good time and it was a great way to raise funds for our charity. Attached are the photos I took and I’ll tryto get some of the other people that were there to send me theirs too. The first 4 photos all have orb like things on them although Im not too sure if the one taken in the Gainsborough room is actually dust. The one thing I find a little strange though, is that on photo 010 the orbs are brighter around the medium (sorry I can't remember his name) than on any of the others pictures. Ive also attached photo 011 which shows nothing abnormal and it was taken at about the same time and at the same angle as 010?? It turns out I actually didn’t really take that many photo's, I wasfar too engrossed in the evening. Anyway here is a list of some of the thingsthat happened to my group and Julie’s group.
Some of the things that were happening in my team includethe tapping in the attic which I heard through the earphones and seemed tofollow on and match your tapping on the sideboard. Then on our last session with Richard in theentrance hall we had some good communication with a lady called Mary. She came through using the glass on the tableand was moving it for ‘yes’ and keeping it still for ‘no’. We managed to find out that Mary was thehouse cook when the hall opened in 1702.
Richard asked her if she knew she wasdead, which she did, and we managed to find out she died at the hall in her 30’sfrom an illness. She never married and had no children but really enjoyed herjob which was why she visited there. We found out she was born in the 1680’sand had come from a good background as she was quite well educated being ableto read and write! We also got in contact with the butler of the house. Wedidn’t get his name but the outside light kept flickering whilst the glass wasmoving with him. The outside light then went off and we asked if he had done it- he answered ‘yes’. We asked if he would turn it back on again to which hereplied ‘No’. We then asked if he could turn it on if he wanted to and heanswered ‘Yes’. We asked if he was happy about us being there which he wasn’tas he preferred the house quiet. Richard then asked him if he knew he was deadand the glass just stopped moving. That was it from him. Mary came back in andapparently we had upset the butler as he didn’t know!
Paul decided to ask Mary some more light hearted questionsinstead of dwelling on how she died, so we managed to find out that there wasone particular meat dish she liked to cook but we didn’t get what it was.
Julie said that their session in the Gainsborough room at the end of theevening was fantastic. There were just 5of them left (Julie, Ian, Karl, Gill and Michelle) and they were using theglass on the table. Things did get offto a slow start but when Karl took his finger off things started tohappen. Gill had the night visionglasses and could see loads of orbs. They established they were speaking to a younglady in her 20's and there were children present too. Alison, Gill and Julie were feeling cold spotsand Michelle was burning up for the second time that night. She said that onceyou and Alison left the rooms things started to hot up. Karl said his legs and hands were freezingand felt like someone was on his knee, they asked if any of the children wereon Karl’s knee, the glass moved with vigour across the table. Michelle was saton the floor and got poked, she moved to the chair in the corner where Alisonhad had her hair pulled. The chair movedand she could feel someone touching her charm bracelet. They asked if one of the children wastouching Michelle’s bracelet the glass moved across the table.
Karl put on the head phones and Gill knocked on the table twice and asked thelady to knock back. They heard 2 faintknocks, so she then asked the children to knock and we all heard one faintknock.
Karl could then hear faint children and when they were asking for their nameshe heard a little girl when they said Mary. Karl then could pick up a lot of things and was telling them what toask. Apparently the lady didn’t likeKarl because he reminded her of her husband, but the children adored him. He had cold knees and hands for most of the sittingwhere the twins Amelia and Mary were sat with him (they were 2 years old). Emilywas the one wondering around touching people she was 5 years old. They found out that they weren't the ladieschildren but she just looked after them in spirit. The ladies husband was called James and thelady, they think, was called Wendy.
All this information was established by asking questions and the glass movedfor yes and stayed still for no, at some points the glass was too far the otherside for Julie to reach so she had to let go but this did not affect the glasses movement atall. In fact at some point each of uslet go so that there was just 2 fingers on the glass, confirming to them allthat it wasn’t the other person pushing the glass.
Haunted House York 35 Stonegate 3rd Sept 2011

Brett Buckleys Review of Group with Mike Tottey.
We arrived at York Ghost House on a damp September evening and gathered in the "Base Room" on the ground floor.
We started by taking the opportunity to survey and photograph the various rooms. Although this looks like quite a small premises from the outer, York Ghost House actually has a surprisingly large interior and we identified five paricular rooms which we wanted to investigate during the course of the evening: "Mask Room", "Seance Room", "Dining Room", "Attic Room" and "Cellar". A sixth room "Mirror Room" seemed promising, but we later abandoned this in favour of spending more time in the Mask Room.
After initial preparations and at around 9:15pm, the crew, along with two Ghost House hosts, led the group of sixteen guests on a preliminary tour of the premises. In the Dining Room, Mike sensed the presence of a lady pacing backwards and forwards as if waiting for someone to return - he also sensed the sea and wondered if she waited for her husband to return. In the Seance Room, Mike sensed a Tom / John character who did not like our presence. After an hour or so, we returned to the base room for food and drinks. We then divided into two groups, one led by Richard Felix and the other by Mike Tottey.
At around 11:30pm, Mike's Group started by investigating the so called Mask Room, a medium-sized square room on the first floor, with dark wood panelling and around thirty or more carved African-styled masks decorating the walls. Attempts to communicate to any entities present using the Ouija board initially did not yield any results, although by adding a fifth person, we then started to experience answers to our questions. We apparently contacted a female who once worked in the house and she gave us the initials "RTR", followed by "BUB".
Leaving the Mask Room at 12pm, we moved upstairs to the Seance Room, a large room on the second floor of the house with a round table filling most of it. We used the technique of joining hands and calling out in the darkness. The floor did feel as though it vibrated on a number of occasions and this gave the impression of someone pacing around the room, behind the circle of chairs, accompanied by a slight draft. A Ouija board did not work well in this location due to the size of the table. Mike our Medium sensed the presense of a spirit called Tom and beleived that he did not like our presence.
From the Seance Room, we returned to the Base Room for a break, before resuming our investigation in the Dining Room at about 1:15am. Mike led the session by calling out and as he did this, one person using the hearing enhancers claimed to have heard footsteps. We commenced using a Quija board whilst one participant also used a scrying mirror. Interestingly a torch, used by one lady, actually started to flicker- seemingly in answer to the questions asked of it. We soon realised that the torch's flickering seemed to mostly coincide with the answers received on the Quija board and we therefore used a combination of both devices to obtain our answers.
Following our questions, the spirit confirmed itself as the same lady that Mike had previously sensed, whilst on our walkaround. She suggested that she lost her husband, a Captain, at sea and still waits for him to return. When asked to spell her name, she replied "JAM" and then confirmed "Jane" when asked. She went on to confirm that she belonged to the Knowles family. A series of questions asking of when she died and who had the throne at the time did not yield any immediate results, although she eventually answered "1910" when asked when she lived at the house; she also confirmed that in that time Edward had the throne. The lady suggested that her husband died on the "America run" during the Boer War. She confirmed that Mike had seen her earlier, whilst wearing her mourning suit and she went on to give "AND" as her husband's name, confirming as "Andrew" when asked, and "MAM" as the name of his ship.
Jane suggested that she had had nine children and that seven had survived; three boys and four girls. She gave the name of the eldest as "LOU" and then confirmed Louise. She went on to say that she herslef died in 1957 and said that she had descendents still living in York - one Ouija board participant at this point confirmed that he had links to the "Knowles" family. Jane told us that thirty other spirits haunted this location, nineteen of who she described as "bad". She gave the initials "WK" in relation to the sprit in the Attic Room who had performed sacrifices at the house and confirmed "William Knowles" when asked, along with admitting that eight spirits present belonged to children. Jane confirmed that William Knowles had murdered a number of children in the house, including at least one of her sons whom she named as "MA", confrimed as Matthew.
Jane seemed quite happy with her situation and claimed to have moved towards the light when she died and met her husband and children once more. She did not however appreciate the changes to the house, particularly the new windows as her husband had made the previous (now removed) ones! When asked for her age at the time of death she gave 50 and confirmed birth in 1907. Her husband apparently died at the age of 60. Jane agreed to accompany us to the Attic Room, our next location.
We made out way to the Attitc Room and immediately made contact with a spirit using the Ouija board. Mike at this point claimed to have been scratched on his hand/wrist. The Quija board answers seemed a little more random this time, but went on to suggest that we had William in the house, that he did not like our presence and that he had located himself downstairs in the Mask Room. Rachel, our leader, had earlier placed a toy mouse in this room as a trigger object / target. The Ouija board revealed that we had a monk with the initials "WW" in the vicinity and that he felt happy with our presence. One of the hosts found his communications radio making unexpected beeping noises at this time. We then added a fourth person to the Ouija board. The results firstly did not make sense, but soon we got the initials "SQ" when asking if we had anyone else present. The entity confirmed it's identity as "the little girl" and went on to give the letter "V" for her initial, then confirming herself as Jane's daughter, Victoria. A series of questions concerning playing games, moving the mouse and so forth gave no results.
Once again we made contact with Jane who confirmed that we had upset Victoria. Mike had felt someone takling hold of his hand and Victoria said that she had done this. Jane confirmed that Victoria had died in the house and did not know that she had died. When asked about the monk, we obtained the name "Walter Turner". Moving back onto William Knowles, we confirmed that he had sacrified animals in the vicinity and that he did not like our presence. Jane claimed to protect us from him. Once again we asked Jane to spell the name of her husband's ship and she gave "W", when asked if she knew the name of the ship, she said "no". During this session, the gauss meter repeatedly crackled.
We received further Ouija board activity and apparently contacted William who wanted us to leave and meant us harm. Jane remained with him and protected us from him and William admitted that he did not like Jane. Willial admitted that he sacrificed Victoria and other children during an act of Satantic witchcraft as he needed blood. He claimed that Jane remain in the room and that he stopped her from speaking. When questions he suggested that he did not feel jealous of Jane, her husband or her family. He said that he had never married and he did not know that he had died. He admitted that he could not move the mouse and that he felt scared of us because of our numbers. He also suggested that he had sacrified a three year old boy.
With this we closed the session and left the Attic Room, making our way down two flights of stairs to the Cellar. Despite the spooky feeling and the darkened "cave" in the corner of the room which showed evidence of the old Roman Road, we received absolutely no activity in the cellar, other than a flickering torch. Mike sensed that a tunnel had once led from the cellar (or close by) and maybe led to York Minister.
We had originally set the final location for Mike's group as the Mirror Room, but this proved a little too small and so we moved back into the Mask Room immediately next door to it. We called out in the darkness but receivied no immediate responses, other than flickering torch. On the Ouija board, we added an additional person and made contact with a spirit who claimed that we had spoken to them earlier and identified themselves as Jane. She again confirmed that she had a husband called "Andrew". We decided to test the spirit and so one partificant asked it to spell out his mother's name. The Ouija spelled "JO" and the participant then revelaed his name as "Jospeh" - the spirit confirmed that it had tried to spell his name. When asked to spell the name of his elder sister, the spirit replied "SE" and when asked if it had tried to spell "Sebastian", the name of his younger bother. It aknowledged that it wanted to play games with us. Another participant asked it spell out his mother's name and it replied "JOUN". When asked if it meant "JUNE", it replied in the affirmative. When asked if it knew the name of the city, it replied "YORK". When asked to spell out the surname name of one of the participants, it spelled "BIS" - quite close to the real name of "BIJSTER". When asked for my surname (Buckley), it spelled out "WOTS" and then followed with a series of seeminly random letter, without a leading question: "AZTMPLNZA". The spirit claimed to want to play games and enjoyed participating. We thanked the spirit and closed the session.
We ended the evening by gathering back in the Base Room and thanking all guests before departing.

Doncaster Air Museum Paranormal Investigation 23rd July 2011 With Most Haunted's Richard Felix as Host
by admin
Doncaster Air Museum houses some amazing aviation hardware, from World War 1 and 2 era flying machines, through to more modern military hardware including some which saw service during the Falklands War. Some aircraft still bear the hallmarks of action and some still show evidence of their final moments in which they crashed to ground killing their pilots. The museum also holds a number of additional artifacts relating to aviation, including the uniforms and insignia of pilots once associated with the base and a large collection of photographs, letters and other fascinating pieces of history.
Alan, our host, kindly gave us a pre-investigation tour of the grounds prior to the arrival of the guests. We had three main locations to work in – building 19, building 21 and the main hanger itself. All areas had their own charm and atmosphere and contained unique sights and smells associated with the various items on display. Even walking around in the limited light of dusk gave us a feel for the parts of the site which would probably change dramatically after dark. During our tour, we made some preliminary suggestions on good locations to try and hold vigils and Ouija boards.
Richard Felix soon joined us and warmed the guests up with some preparatory chat on the paranormal – Richard outlined the theory in which the fabric of a building, particularly the brick work might take imprints of past events, particularly emotionally charged happenings and then play them back at certain times – he also explained his theories on hauntings. As a group we then toured the site to give the guests a feel for the layout and to allow anyone with a sensitive nature to pick up on any presences. In building 21, we set up a table with a Ouija board and at the end of a corridor, we placed a crucifix shaped trigger object, along with a night vision camera observing it.
One particular room gave us particular fascination – a reconstruction of a World War 2 era Sheffield street in the aftermath of a German bombing raid. A number of items in the display, including a large number of bricks had in fact come from the actual site and this sparked our interest with respect the Richard's earlier chat on the concept of bricks and other materials holding memories of emotional and tragic events. We agreed that this location (we called it the “blitz room”) would prove perfect for a vigil after midnight. Scott sensed the presence of a figure trying to walk past him in the doorway and instinctively moved aside to allow him to pass – he spoke out at the time and another guest confirmed seeing him look and move.
The main corridor in building 21 also contained the remains of the engines of an American P-82 lightning which crashed during world war 2, killing the pilot. (surname Ferrera). Another room within building 21 seemed particularly oppressive and a few people felt uncomfortable entering the area – we once again agreed to revisit this location later and we called this the “helicopter room”.
In the main hanger, we spend some time exploring the dozens of various aircraft and parts thereof. We also located a set of metal stairs leading to a second level. Alison suggested that in a previous investigation they had received some interesting results in this area – another good location for a Ouija board we decided.
The informal walk around finished and we returned to our main base room for coffee and snacks before arming ourselves with all of the necessary equipment, including night vision goggles, PK meters, dowsing rods and so on. Some members took the opportunity to pay a visit to the toilets, located on the end of building 19 - and pretty close to the place in which previous investigators had witnessed a full body apparition. Needless to say, few people went alone into this area!
We began with a vigil in building 19 – a comparatively small location with half a dozen or so aircraft sections and just enough room for us to create a circle of chairs in order to call out. Two guests also took the opportunity to climb inside the cockpit of an aircraft and remained in there for the duration. We placed a PK meter in the centre of the circle and joined hands. I remained outside of the circle to take notes and Scott, our cameraman, also remained outside – this allowed us to stay objective. Surprisingly, we received no results in this room, despite maintaining the vigil for 20 minutes or more. Even the PK meters gave us no readings. Scott believed that he had sensed the presence of a brown-haired female in military uniform and I experienced the feeling of light pressure on top of my head and pain in my lower back, although accepted that this probably came down to my imagination.
We decided to move straight into Building 21 as many of us felt more of a connection in this area. With the lights turned out and a single torch illuminating the Ouija board, we began our work. Four guests, two men and two women, took their places at the table and we began. Richard opened the session by calling out respectfully to any spirits in our vicinity. The plachette soon began to move in a circular fashion and to respond to our questions.
We established the identity of a male RAF pilot who claimed to have died during World War 2 in a flying accident, along with other crew members. An attempt to request a name spelled out "FESGSHI" which led us to wonder if it had attempted to spell out "FERERRA", the actual name of a pilot who died in a P38 crash, as documented in the museum display in the corridor. On the third letter, the planchette had started by pointing at "R", before moving to "S", giving us quite a shock. Since we believed that we had apparently contacted the spirit of an American pilot, I took the opportunity to place a US dollar on the table. The spirit responded by spelling out "PRFR" which we interpreted as "prefer" and when asked if he "preferred pounds", he replied positively. Further questions brought about a suggestion that the spirit had crashed on a training mission on which the engine had failed and that he had died in the subsequent fire. He suggested that the nature of his death kept him there.

With this we made our thanks and closed the session. We returned to the central corridor and true to my word, I place both notes in the collection box. Moving straight into the “blitz room”, we seated ourselves on the floor and began to sit in silence, to see if anyone experienced anything. I personally felt rather nauseous in this room, as did a couple more guests. Scott felt as if he could sense a presence in the darkness, although we did not receive any signs or PK readings. Leaving the room we checked the trigger object in the corridor outside and confirmed that it had not moved. The camera monitoring it had, however, experienced some difficulties.
We made our way back down the central corridor and decided to check out the so called “helicopter room” – this room seemed to exist as a kind of extension to building 21, due to the presence of small ramps leading into it. Almost all members of our group claimed to feel uneasy entering the room. It contained a number of large display glass cases, each containing a number of items from the years - such as military badges, uniforms and other significant objects. With the lights turned out and in total silence, we waited. Numerous people reported exactly the same experience – a feeling that the floor moved or made them feel unstable on their feet – almost like a rocking or tipping sensation. Some felt light headed and others felt as if their lower legs had gone numb. I experienced the “unstable floor” and I also saw a shape move in the darkness, reminiscent of a waving arm, but accepted that one of our guests might have moved across my field of vision. I personally felt a burning sensation in both ears and Richard Felix similarly felt his ears ringing for some time.
Before we left the room, I asked if anyone would like to remain and do a solo vigil for five minutes or so. With some gentle persuasion, Richard Felix volunteered and so we left him in the room alone and waited outside in the moonlight. He emerged unscathed and in good spirits and ready for the next location.
On entering location 3, the large hanger, we split into several groups and dispersed into the various corners to try and acclimatise ourselves to the atmosphere. After ten minutes or so, we met again and ascended the stairs to the raised section where we had set up the table with the Ouija board.
As before, four people took to the table and we started to attempt to communicate We made a call for any spirits in our vicinity to make contact with us. The planchette showed some signs of movement and so we asked for a name. Immediately it spelled out "W" and after again asking for a name, it returned to "W". We realised that the spirit seemed confused with the method of communication as it repeatedly returned to the "Hello" part of the board causing much amusement. Taking this confusion into consideration, Richard took the chance to ask if the spirit was Polish and it responded in the positive. Once again it claimed to have died in a place crash and suggested that it remained here alone with the wreckage of the plane. A third attempt to spell out the name once again resulted in the "W / V" character, then followed by "O / P", "R / S", "U" and then "W". When asked if any other entities could communicate, the spirit gave the answer "5" and then responded with "Z".

"Is there someone else with you who can talk to us?" - 5
"Are there five spirits here?" - Z
A further experiment with an upturned wine glass, seemed to produce some strong and immediate results in response to leading questions, although some of us did later question the nature of this and felt that maybe fatigue had caused us to see more that we should and perhaps our touch on the glass should have remained lighter. Towards the end of this session, we closed workings by encouraging the spirit to move towards the light. The glass slowed down and so we thanked the spirit and overturned it.

The time approached 3am and so we decided to close the session and return to our base room. A later discussion with the museum host, Alan, revealed that the so called "helicopter room" did not necessarily have any historical significance and in fact represented a modern extension to building 21. Nevertheless, multiple people all reported similar feelings whilst standing in this room.
Doncaster Airfield did yield some interesting activity, although perhaps not as much as expected. Definitely worth a repeat visit, perhaps with a medium, to try and make further contact.
