We began our Ghost Night Event Paranormal Investigation with a Walk around the location with Medium Adrian Clark whom has never been to 35 Stonegate in York. Guests were shown around the spooky location and we made notes here is our findings.

Dining Room – A guest and Adrian smelt stale smells of cabbage. Adrian sensed a connection with the 1940s a Gent called Joseph whom was wearing a flat cap, tweed jacket and wellington boots. The surname Maxwell was sensed. He also gathered this was a bedroom at some point and someone had died in the room. An uncomfortable feeling was also sensed.

A lady was sensed too, one wearing a scrooge type night cap and Nightdress. The lady was sensed to be a nice energy. Name of Emily sensed too. Emily was thought to be mischievous. He explained she would want to rub mens tummies. A guest Ian spoke up and said he felt a warm feeling on his tummy. She was making Adrian want to laugh, Adrian says she likes men. Emily was said to be in her 60s.

Adrian felt the ceiling in some part had fallen in at some point.

Another lady Catherine was sensed by Adrian from the 1700s, she was not very talkative however. She did say she was looking forward to us moving around the location though.

Séance Room – Adrian explained the room felt heavy and very intense. Adrian sensed a man with a long beard here and felt he wanted to rub his beard. He spoke of a man wearing Wader type boots surname of Harrington. The name Emily was again present in this room. Adrian felt tightness in his chest. An intense presence in the location was sensed. Adrian said he felt the need to grow bigger as this man tall and big in presence.

Suicide sensed in the room in the 1600s by poisoning. Someone in the room was very angry. A guest felt heavy pressure on her shoulders, pushing her shoulders down.

Another energy / spirit sensed a boy called Billy aged 10. He was from the early 1900s, his surname of Cartwright.

Adrian said the Room was a Bedroom at some point. A lady was in the room wearing green velvet / velour type dress whom had long black curly hair very glamorous aged around 30s. I also sensed her and felt her age around 26 / 27 years old.

Adrian felt he wanted to knock walls down as if walls were different at some point, possibly a secret passage? Amanda heard a lady crying then hearing enhancers were turned off! Adrian sensed 2 wolf hounds and the name Emily kept coming forward. He felt he needed to pray in the room. Guests felt sick and dizzy in the room.

A male Energy sensed a Clergyman from 1600s wearing a dark cloak and hat holding a bible. This man hates women and people! He did not like witches.
Philip a guest had the name of Edward spelt on the board earlier!

MIRROR ROOM – Adrian spoke of printing being done in this room at some time. He sensed children would come into this room, however not much activity wise. The children had followed us from another part in the building. They wanted to dance and have fun in the room. Our guest Philip sensed the little girl in her. Guests felt cobweb type feelings on their faces in here.

MASK ROOM – Adrian heard GET OUT! At this point the EMF Meter went off! It was the Clergyman telling us to get out. Adrian felt the need to get down and pray. I heard a growl! a human type intimidating growl. Adrian sensed a pain in his tummy, like someone wanted to punch him. A sense of unease.

CHAIR ROOM – Alison was tapped / prodded on her back while she sat on the cross type chair!

Adrian spoke of a a young girl in this area with Ringlets in her hair. She was put in this area for punishment. The girl was scared in this area. There was a long bearded type alchemist type man in this area too. He made potions. Had cloths on like a religious type man. He had long hair. A guest complained that his throat felt dry and tight making him cough. Another guest sensed the name of Mary! Adrian got the name of Madeline and Rose. A sceptical guest heard heavy sighs.

ATTIC ROOM – As soon as Adrian got into the room he sensed someone bringing sacks in the room, and a name of James. Some Guests did not like this room. Adrian however liked the room, like he wanted to stay in the room. Amanda sensed someone sat in the corner of the room. Another guest Donna sensed an older lady in the room in her 80s or looked that age as withered. Adrian felt like he was wearing a helmet like the Knights Templers. A guest Ian sensed children in the room. Some felt they were being grabbed by someone smaller. Adrian spoke of the little girl being in the room and not wanting to be in the room. Cold drafts felt at the far end of the room. No apparent areas where this could of come from. Strong smells experienced in here, stale smells. Adrian felt rats would have been rife in this area. At this point a Guest spoke of a name of Joseph a small boy. Donna a Guest felt numbness in her right arm. The EMF Meter responded. A guest felt someone touching their legs. I also felt tickling on my legs. Adrian heard the word SMALLPOX! Alison and Amanda wanted to leave the room, felt ill and like no air in the room. Also Alison felt as though she had a pain in her stomach and left shoulder! Lynn Briggs a Guest heard the name Lorna from 1869 / 1879 and heard the name EMILY again.

During the early stages of the night, our medium, Mike Tottey sensed the presence of children in the downstairs part of the building and also the presence of a well somewhere on the site. On the upper floor, he sensed energies from the era of Richard the first, around 1220 and also picked up on the name Thomas with respect to the original owner / builder of the property. Charles, a guest also confirmed seeing corresponding initials around the circular window above the main door. Mike sensed the energy of a 19 / 20 year old who worked at the building. He had no shoes and wore raggedy trousers tied up with string and Mike felt that he existed around the 1680's. Mike visualised him skipping around and swinging on the low beam in the centre of the room and went on to suggest that he sensed that the man died of blood poisoning. As we talked, Mike explained that the building existed on a ley line and had many layers of energy associated with it. We did hear some banging noises and the lights flicked on three ocassions; Mike suggested the name "Jack".

We took a walk around the outside of the building and Mike sensed that the building had once served as a place of judgement; Charles also felt this way. Mike sensed people coming to the building to stand trial, possibly as far back as the 1300's. Rachel and Frankie claimed to see a man's head in the window as we spoke. Mike sensed shadows and felt that spirits walked in this area, children also.

As the group returned to the table in the upstairs room, Brett took a number of photos and caught a series of bright orbs and Mike again sensed the presence of Jack. A number of people sensed slight movement in the table and their chairs and Mike started to feel some kind of uncomfortable burning sensation across his back. The temperature reader did give an indication of slightly unusual temperatures across Mike's shoulders. Amanda sensed a tickling sensation on her left arm and an orb showed above Rachel's head on a photograph.

The Ouija board seemed to generate some strong results - we apparently contacted the spirit of a lady called Eliza who died as a baby but now described herself as aged 13 years of age. She liked to play mischievous games and knew the man called Jack whom she liked. She claimed that members of staff had seen her but that she could not show herself to us. We then contacted a person over the age of 21 who had lived at the house and maybe owned it. She identified herself as the "lady of the house" and still lived there with her two children. She knew that she had died and suggested that she had lived there in the 1700's with Charles II on the throne. She suggested that she now felt free and happy. She also claimed that they had helped to hide priests at the house and that nuns had been discovered and hanged nearby. She explained that she had changed her faith to protestant and that she feared for herself because he husband, a strict amn, had died a Catholic. She suggested that she sat near Richard and that we had seen her on the photograph as an orb. We questioned her perception of the death process and she implied that she had hardly noticed a change and had died peacefully, rather like falling asleep. As we closed the session, Mike again confirmed that he felt hot in his back and shoulders.

We resumed a walkaround of the premises and Mike sensed officers present, in the form of militia. Mike suggested that people had felt their hair tugged in the vicinity and he alluded to a footpath around the building but also said that it did not feel right. He also sensed children signing their name and suggested that children may have lived there at some point. Mike looked up at the rose window and suggested that he felt spied on. He sensed running horses carrying prisoners and also said that he felt spied on. Again he referred to priest holes and he also saw a light flashing in an upstairs window.

In the Pool room, Craig, Frankie and Richard attempted to communicate using a glass but received only slight movement. The results did seem a little random, although we seemed to contact a 16 year old who got seen a lot by staff. The spirit them indicated that it knew one of the guests as the glass moved towards her and seemed to answer a series of questions. However, it answered them wrongly. We changed glass operators and sang "Ring a ring of roses" to try and provoke a response. Again a spirit came through who claimed to know one of the operators and identified himself as a 26 year old called Steve.

We had heard reports from the staff of people feeling like they levitated and so three volunteers laid on the floor of the pool room to try and test the theory. However nothing of significance happened. Mike sensed a girl called Rebecca from the 1600's.

Some of the members investigated the ladies toilets but found nothing. In the snooker room Rachel experienced some success with glass work and beleived that they had contacted Thomas at one point. The glass moved rapidly in answer to questions and indicated that the persona communicating claimed to have had six children, all of whom had since passed on. The spirit claimed that it needed help to move on and so the participants advised it on the process of moving towards the light.

We moved into the dining room, adjacent to the main bar, and attempted some work with the springulum. We did have some movement, but nothing of obvious significance and so we moved in to the bar and attempted a Ouija board experiment. We obtained the letters S-E-W and apparantly contacted a male who died at the age of 5. He claimed to have reunited with his parents and gave the number 65. This had some signifcance because the premises converted to a pub in 1965. On further questioning the spirit related to having spots under his arm and seeing a doctor with a long beak. Mike concluded that he had died of the plague and helped to move him towards the light.

Richard then demonstrated the use of the pendulum and Brett set up a simple experiment to prove it's use in dowsing for water. Three mugs placed on the floor and covered up, with just one containing water. Richard correctly identified the water filled mug with some clear pendulum movement.

We chose to have a final session in the large upstairs room and performed a table tipping experiment in a part of the room that the staff claimed to have seen the most activity. The table did move somewhat, although not to any great extent. Two of the guests, Charles and his wife claimed to sense high pitched whislting noises and the feeling of cobwebs on their faces. Mike thought that he could see a face between the bar pumps.

We closed our Ghost Hunt / Paranormal investigation at Kershaw house and agreed that it have proven an interesting location and very worthy of a repeat visit.

We arrived at the amazing Tudor built building in Warwickshire called the Falstaffs Experience, we were greeted by the lovely Janet Ford and her husband. Following an introduction the History tour began. After such Chris Conway Most Haunteds Tvs former medium began his walk around the building. This is the report from such.

The Gift Shop

Chris sensed a lady who used the live in the area who has been seen before. He described her as having a bad eye hanging down as though she had been burnt or had a stroke. She told Chris she had lost her children in this area, they had died at an early age due to poor conditions, rats and she should an image of people throwing things out of the window, such as human waste. This is what she said killed her children. Chris explained she looked withered but probably only in her 30s. She had grey curly hair and looked around 60. He said she would make herself known, she was nearly driven insane trying to find her children. Chris explained she was a nice energy called either Jean or Joan.
One of Guests Amanda spoke up and asked if the lady who Chris explained was similar to one of the dummies and he agreed. Amanda went on to say that she had seen her spirit physically on the history walk just before.

Top of the Stairs the plague corridor

Chris felt as though the Falstaffs used to be a drinking establishment an Inn. He felt feelings of drunkenness. He got a name associated with this area, William. Chris explained that William was a strong character, strong willed and a dominant energy. He said William would be helpful and help keep negative energies away. He liked his energy.

Dead Room

Chris sensed a different energy here. 3 spirit children, 2 young boys and a young girl. They wouldn’t give any names. They had to do anything to keep alive. They were not allowed to play or be children! One of the children, a boy stole an apple from a cart and was tried and died for his crime. They were pick pockets and would in spirit move things and then people would find them later. Very mischievous energies, Chris felt as though his knees were being kicked.

Ship Room

One of the guests cameras batteries had drained. Janet Ford confirmed this would be a regular occurrence with batteries.
John was sensed in this room. Chris explained he was not a nice man. Responsible for deaths like Fred West! A serial Killer of women. Janet confirmed this to be true. Chris explained he would make women feel pain in their chests. He said this was his area. He would emanate a bad odour - like decomposing flesh. His breath was foul.

Attic

John followed us into the attic. He had 2 accomplices. All 3 treated women badly. They all stood and watched the group. Frankie and a few guests felt bad pains in their stomachs. Chris said they were looking forward to tonight. Chris didn’t like the attic room at all. He explained that the men were horrible. Frankie became very shakey. A photograph was taken of the far left corner of the attic where Chris said the man was stood. A green mist was photographed by 2 different cameras and over a few shots it was clear the mist moved after being filmed. Some could hear heavy male breathes. The bell on the table moved. A man whispers were heard over the hearing enhancers. Two of the female guests became hot and rocking feeling very sick. Chris explained that would be the men making them feel bad.

We then began our Vigils in the attic!

We started our group vigil following an eventful walk around the Falstaffs experience with Most Haunteds Tvs Medium Chris Conway and Janet Ford whom confirmed Chris Conways findings. As we were now in the attic room which is called the séance room, we all sat around the large table and joined hands on the table. Chris began calling out. Frankie our Ghost Night Event Paranormal Investigator and one of the guests Yvonne began to get stomach pains which were piercing. Janet Ford explained that this would be John making the girls feel pain. Chris explained that he was effecting Frankie as he was making 2 of his accomplices harm her as he watched, John would use these men to lure and intimidate women before John would kill them! We knew that the 3 men were active. Janet confirmed that the men were like this in life. Chris kept getting images of Johns accomplice grabbing Frankies head and smacking it on the table. He said the table was different to the one we were sat around it was a heavy Oak one. People started to feel physically sick and Chris explained that it was the men doing this. He said they were walking around the table one constantly stood behind Frankie. Another male energy / spirit stood behind Yvonne and Catherine our Guests. Chris and Janet explained John liked Blondes and also the Younger more vulnerable ladies.

During a calling out session in our séance a sceptical guest questioned what the scratching noises were coming from under the table and so Chris suggested we took our hands off the table and the scratching continued when questions were asked. During the session Kester a Guest was taking photographs and a most amazing photograph was witnessed by all immediately it was clear of a mans head, a dark haired gent peering through between Frankie and Chris Conway. It was in an orb type circle but very clear of the mans face his features were so prominent. Just after Kester had taken this picture he experienced a feeling that someone had punched him in his right eye. Another photo was taken and a white face was between my face and another guests face Nicola. Kester had also gathered some interesting Orb type photographs also. These Photographs can be viewed on our Face Book Ghost Night Events Group.

In the Séance Room we started the Ouija Board, during calling out we had little response and it was felt that the Man John wouldn’t do anything we asked so responding via this communication was difficult however I decided to provoke response which worked well as he became John the male Spirit became angry at the questions. I had sensed that John may have had many bad experiences as a child, I asked if he had seen or done bad things to his mother, also if he had to do bad things as a child. I sensed an extremely disturbed mind altered man. All such related questions provoked John to move the planchette in a faster circular motion and I then gave John something back by asking his involvement to choose someone he wanted to go on their own in the location. John moved the planchette towards Frankie and wouldn’t confirm Yes as required however I told John that Frankie would not be going anywhere as she was targeted constantly by him and his accomplices. Frankie did not want to do a lone vigil either due to his intimidations. Our guest Nicola volunteered to go on a lone vigil. Chris Conway took her to the room beneath the attic room. Nicola was extremely brave as this was her first Ghost Hunt!!! During her lone vigil she had response to calling out taps and heard footsteps approaching her. She was most excited at the response!

Throughout the Vigil I had heard through my hearing enhancers constant whispers which sounded male and intimidating. Replies of Yes were heard constantly to questions asked.

During the attic session we decided to use the Franks Box which is also called the ghost box. During channel seeking spirit voices can be heard as it is believed spirit are on different frequencies and can manipulate speech on the radio waves. One of our sceptics was intently listening to the radio which was clearly just white noise and the name John was heard clear on the radio pointed out by our excited sceptic Paul. Frankie spoke out and asked if the spirits wanted her to do a lone vigil and a voice was clearly heard saying GO ON THEN! Chris and Kester then both took Frankie to the scrying mirror. On leaving the attic Chris heard footsteps like someone was following them. It was strange as those left in the attic had little experiences at this point. So I decided to take the Group to the Big Oak Ouija Board to do a Vigil beneath the attic. Here several people joined in the séance while I asked out, calling any spirits to Join. We experienced slight movement on the planchette when Yvonne called out for a male energy who protects all at the Falstaffs. We also experienced cold spells and hair being touched. Mohammed a guest on the night had some response with the dowsing rods.

As not much occurred we moved to the Plague corridor. We all sensed a foreboding presence and all sat or stood around the staircase, calling out I sensed a child presence at the bottom of the stairs but they seemed reluctant to come forward.
During Frankies vigil, Kester did try the scrying mirror and his face changed his eyes went small, looking slightly Japanese. He also looked like he wasn’t stood there but like a man behind a window was staring at them. Kester felt his face go hot. Chris then tried the scrying mirror. His face changed to the way the man looked in the photograph Kester had taken earlier. Throughout the Vigil the 3 felt as though someone was behind them all the time.

A trigger object for the children spirits was set up and a camcorder set up to record the possibility of spirit children interacting with the toy or ball. Alas no movement was witnessed however footage by Kester our guest may reveal something later. Infrared recordings were taken throughout the night.

Frankie, Chris and Kester went back into the attic and Frankie used the bell as a pendulum, with response to questions. When asked if the spirits would make the bell ring. It did slightly.
It was an eventful evening with majority of contact dominated by the spirit of John. A murderer-serial killer and rapist, who used his two accomplices to create a foreboding atmosphere and intimidate people in particular Frankie. We reviewed the night and guests left for home after an eventful paranormal experience at the Falstaffs Experience!

A GUESTS RECORD KESTER

I wonder if you feel as I do –drained! Last night was a very eventfulnight and for me it began as we all entered the attic. Behind me I heard Rachel’s toy mousesqueeking. I remember it was left on itsback in the base room. I cannot becertain why it did that but later in the evening we had a static camera set upto see if anything else happened. Thereis so much audio, film and pictures to go through that it will keep me very busy. Anyway, until then here is the picture you have asked for. Viewable on Facebook

For me, this is an interesting picture. It fitted the context given by Chris Conway. I should have it on audioor film when Chris said he had the image of a man hitting Frankies’ head offthe table. This picture was taken just afew minutes after he said that. He also said there was a spirit right byFrankie and that is what I see in the picture. Why this image interests me is not just that it fitted perfectly the context given by Chris but also my own experiences which began when I lived alone in a house with a poltergeist. For that month I learned how subtle spirits can be and yet how to look for them. I think spirits share a goldenrule and that is, ‘don’t let the living see you.’ I believe I know why but there is no reason for me to say so here. So, spirits, Ibelieve, try very hard to blend in where ever they are but we do notice them sometimes and that is why we become interested and go on ghost hunts. For me, this picture fits my criteria of whatis a likely to be a spirit. I will,however, keep looking.

We began our nights paranormal investigation at Haunted no 35 Stonegate with a Medium Walk around to see what Spirits await us in the dark of this amazing much loved location!

Dining Room

Mike sensed an Edwardian lady walking up and down dressed in dark clothing. Her energy being residual. Mike claimed that the Dining Room had been an active room throughout the day – this was confirmed by 2 guests whom had a brief look around and couldn’t open the door to leave the room! They sensed the presence of a young girl also. Eventually the door released and they were allowed to leave the room! No one else was in this area, so no fool play apparent! The staff member at Haunted spoke of that room being a strange one in the day, spooky and had made people not want to stay in the room. Mike explained there were 2 other negative spirits Edward and one other.

Séance Room

Mike sensed a Dark negative energy / presence – a gent named Tom. He was dressed in dark clothing. One lady in the group began to feel nauseous whilst in the corner of the room. I had also heard whispering outside the door of the séance room. Mike explained that he also sensed some energies there, he asked me to take a photograph and that 3 orbs would appear on the stair area. I did so but only had one orb in the picture. Maybe the other energies had left? The lady in the corner of the room began to feel very hot. Humming was heard on the hearing enhancers by a few people as were Whispers and a loud males moaning voice! The lights dimmed without any cause. A voice was heard saying ‘Get out!’ Mike sensed a Gentleman called Edward from the 1630 – 1640 period. Lights were then seen in the corner of the room, and then the dimmed lights went bright again.

Mask Room

Whispering was heard. The audio began to start to play even though the system was off! The room felt extremely cold and footsteps were heard above.

Attic

Mike sensed the energy of the priest. He said to Mike ‘they would not kill me for being a priest but they would for what I do!’ The presence of children was felt and noises heard. Mike said an old lady was felt to come into this area.

Before we split into smaller groups we decided to do the human pendulum in the Base Room. We had some amazing results. The first session a Gent was chosen he was moved backwards for yes. Mike and Richard Felix led the session with asking some great questions. This is what we found out about the spirit influencing this Gent in moving him and the questions asked. He was a Gentleman called Tom, a butcher from 1862. He was a murderer he died from natural causes on his own. He murdered lady who was 22 years old. Queen Victoria was in Reign and a wrong man was tried for the crime hung in 1863 by York Prison. He knows he is in spirit. A symbol in the shop relates to the crime and holds him here. A skull remains in the building somewhere. He claimed Ambrose was connected to the killer. There were more men present at the act of murdering the lady of the house! He was thought to push her down the stairs, she was carrying his unborn child.

The second part of the session a lady was chosen, the spirit of Emily connected to her. She moved her backwards for yes. She claimed she worked here, a maid. She was murdered. She claimed to of been pilloried in the stocks for petty crime. She knew who her murderer was and she was pregnant with his child. Murdered for this reason, she was strangled. Attacked by several men she was pushed then down the stairs, dying on the stairs. She remains unhappy and is now with her child, it is a child a born spirit on the other plane.
We split into smaller groups and I was with Mike Tottey our medium.

ATTIC ROOM

Mike sensed a Clergy man whom harmed children. A monk. He claimed he could move on but chose not to. Mike asked if he had sexual encounters with women of the night, he told Mike he did. He said he never harmed the ladies of the night. It helped him to not do things to the children. The children liked the ladies they interacted with them they enjoyed their company. A guest read out the Lord’s Prayer in classical Greek with amazing results, a quiet ‘Amen’ was heard on the hearing enhancers. An echo of the recital was also heard.

DINING ROOM @ 02.10 am

Mike sensed a raised sword on entering the room. He got the numbers 71 and 149, some connection between a sailor, and an American connection. Possible codes were used. Mike spoke of CQD then at that point I heard a cry and a cat meowing. A guest stated that apparently there are 2 cats buried in the walls of the building. I uploaded the web site to see live web cams of what was happening and I saw with my own eyes a shadow pass under the table like 2 things joining. Was this the cat heard? Mike claimed an Elemental was present and we should be aware. Was this what I heard and saw? On delayed live web cam the shadow could clearly be seen moving exactly where I saw this occur! We asked questions on the Springulum and it was claimed by movement on the Springulum that the Elemental came with someone without them knowing. Mike was suspicious of spiritual contact because of the Elemental.

Description of what an Elemental follows:

(Elemental spirits are by nature chaotic and destructive, but also capable of reasoning and clever actions. The Earthen Ring was actually formed to keep the elemental spirits in check. They work to prevent the elemental forces from wreaking havoc on Azeroth; otherwise, the world would be in danger. The group works hard to keep the elementals pacified, by talking to and dealing with them, thus ensuring they do not cause trouble in the world. Its main goal is to maintain the balance between the world and the elementals that dwell upon it. In this manner, the Earthen Ring prevents elementals from engaging in the chaotic destruction that would otherwise ensue.)

Richard Felix and Alison’s Group sessions

DINING ROOM SESSION

Emf fluctuations were experienced, moans were heard. Richard got the group to use the Springulum and movement of the Springulum represented answers to questions Richard asked. These are the results – a female spirit whom lived here this was her house – the K2 also was responding going to a red light so strong response. The lady still lived here and she did not know she was dead. She was awaiting the return of Jack her husband. He was a sailor and an officer on a ship. She claimed to be stood in the middle of the table and did not mind communicating with the team. Jack never returned, he was a very tall man with a moustache. They had one child whom died at a young age of the dreaded plague. Queen Victoria was on the throne. The lady was called Elsepth. This was her parlour. Elsepth would often sit at the window looking for Jack to return. She claimed to see other ghosts / spirits in the house. She believed us to be ghosts. She is alone. At this point a loud thud was heard in the corner of the room.

ATTIC

Using a dowsing crystal Richard asked questions to spirit present. It was ascertained that a spirit of a monk was communicating. He meant us no harm, but he had bad things to children. Seemingly he never lived at the house. He claimed others were in the attic with them. These were the children, they were present he claimed as they were sinners. He claimed he still punished them did bad things to them. It makes him feel bad. The children never lived at the house, his brother did. He claimed he would come along the passages and abuse his brother’s children. He said he died of natural causes, but remains here because of his crime. He claimed to be terrified of going to hell. Whilst communicating he claimed to be stood in the corner of the room.

MASK ROOM

For the Vigil in here table tipping was done with amazing results. The table moved around the room. All groups were together. A male spirit a teenager whom lived here a son of the master of the house in the 1500s came forward. A mask moved on its own on the wall. Other spirits were present in the house. He was abused by the monk as was his brothers and sisters. He thinks he is a sinner and so blames himself. He was afraid. The monk was also present. SÉANCE ROOM
– A French lady Margareta was sensed here. The name John had relevance and was heard. Graeme sensed a sacrifice, and saw a symbol of a goat in middle of the table. Graeme sensed the draining of blood, the dark arts, and saw a symbol of a pentagram. He felt we were being watched. He sensed a male energy wants to kill a lady.
MASK ROOM – 12.00 -12.45
A child spirit / energy communicated on the Ouija board. A lady came to take the child out of the room, (was this the same lady who helped the children sensed on other occasions?) A tall man was sensed in the doorway and a lady was just watching.

DINING ROOM –RICHARD FELIX, GRAEME FRYER, BRIAN & FRANKIE

The vigil was a Ouija board session. A mature lady came through, same lady as sensed in the attic area. She had died of natural causes in this house in the 1500s. A mistress of the house, she remains because she likes it here.

On the Franks Box a Ghost Radio where radio waves are transmitted and spirit may use the waves to use words and communicate with us. The name Thomas was heard, he claimed 4 other spirits were present. At the windows Philip sensed a little girl holding his hand and heard her name as Anne.

MIRROR ROOM 2.45 – 3.15

No activity of a paranormal nature so the group ventured to
MASK ROOM – A man was sensed circling the group while the group all stood holding hands, the spirit of a little girl was sensed in the middle of the circle. She was scared of the man. Brian felt he was being pulled, balls of his feet hurt.

CELLAR – I heard lots of footsteps outside the doorway on the stairs. Lots of Orbs seen on Night vision goggles and I also felt someone not visibly present touch my arm. Graeme sensed a spirit attached to the Gas Mask in the cellar.

Lecture Room – Graeme sensed he wanted to throw and move things that a spirit here was not happy. His leg became freezing cold. The EMF went red by the door no electrics were effecting it. We then ventured to the attic – Graeme sensed people were sent up here to be disciplined. He sensed a Gent whom would discipline children here, hitting them. He sensed someone was hiding up here. He felt someone inscribed on a beam and found the name Will. I spoke and asked of a woman whom had hung herself here and that I felt she would be with a child. A female guest then felt her hair being pulled.

We moved to the Dress Room – Graeme sensed things would happen here. It was very active and Spirit attached to dresses displayed. He felt a particular lady from the 1851-1853 Period whom was attached to a dress, called Mary. A male guest also sensed this name. Graeme had been told by Mary that her dress had been altered! We walked into the Fredrick Shields Room. Graeme sensed the room had rows of seats. Felt a gathering like a church in this room. A male guest sensed a man in this room who had been following us around the building. He then felt he had a bad shoulder. Graeme also felt this. They felt the man was in his 40s. It was felt he wanted to make contact. I started to get a headache as did a couple of the guests. Graeme spoke of the boat and felt it had an overseas connection. Richard said it was a Norman boat so that was possible.

We began the night with a Human Pendulum in the Great Hall – Alexander Radcliffe came through to communicate. He had died in battle. Margaret his sister had starved herself to death. A man whom was in his 50s came forward he claimed to die in attic from strangulation, hence why he remains at Ordsall Hall. He is buried in the grounds. He said he never lived here. His responses were strong and he claimed he would communicate later.

Great Chamber – Communication began through the Ouija board. Attending the session were 4 men, 2 females. Graeme called out. A personal message was communicated to a guest. The message was clear and concise.

Graeme also sensed a black dog.

I had gone into the Naughty Children’s Cupboard with a Guest, Nery and Cynthia an Ordsall Hall’s team member. I was wearing a Victorian maid type outfit and called out to spirit. We filmed the activity and had good response from spirit. We sensed a young girl and Orbs were then caught on film circling around my hand at times. Unbeknown at the time I had also caught a long drawn out voice saying yessss several times! It sounds like a male voice! It seemed to respond to questions. I am trying to upload this video. The guest, Nery returned to the naughty room with her partner and another couple as activity was great. It was a strange feeling in the cupboard and different shadow patterns were witnessed.

A guest used the dowsing rods and had response from Queen Elizabeth’s lady in waiting.

Boat Room – 2 orbs seen and photographed in this area by a guest. The dowsing rods were used by a guest and it was communicated through that and thought insertion that A Henry Martendale was communicating whom had an injury from riding accident. That at Ordsall Hall there is a picture of his brother somewhere. He claimed to of never lived here but that his brother did in this particular room. Martendale was confirmed as a name at Ordsall Hall for a while. He claimed he was happy in spirit.

Following a break in the attic room a female spirit communicated on Ouija Board session. She was a servant over the age of 21 years old. She lived in the attic. She claimed to be murdered in the 1800s, Strangled. She knew whom the murderer was. She claimed he was in spirit in this room too. She wants justice. It was ascertained that she was pregnant at the time of her murder. (was this the lady I had sensed before) A female guest had been having bad stomach pains was this why? She claimed her baby was still with her as a spirit. She said she could go to the light if she wanted but was also ashamed of her pregnancy. The murderer was father to her child! He was the Squire of the house! Graeme helped the lady go towards the light. There was a sense of peace.
Richard Felix joined a guest Dave and I in attic and heard on the hearing enhancers a gent slowly saying Yessss something unbeknown at the time I had recorded in the Naughty Children’s Cupboard was this the Gentleman whom would discipline children in the attic? It was strange as I heard him also in the attic and was excited that Richard also heard his voice. (I never led Richard to know I had heard a man’s voice but asked him to listen as I could hear a voice several times in the attic through the hearing enhancers) Richard was very excited but the Gent never responded to further questions Richard asked. I have since let him see the video footage of me in the cupboard with Nery and Cynthia and he recognised the Gents voice heard in the background.

Dress Exhibition Room – Graeme had called for spirit to make presence known and 2 orbs were seen via night vision goggles by a guest, another guest also caught the 2 orbs on camera.

Conference / Teaching room- Graeme felt angry on entering the room. It was something to do with a Gent. He had only passed into spirit in the last 6 years. He had heart problems, he had left his wife and 2 children, he was unhappy about things. He was in his late 40s and had visited the conference room 6-7 years ago. A dark haired gentleman.

A Ouija board session with 2 male guests and 2 female guests presented good findings I called out and asked questions through this results gave us; a man called MIKE whom died 7-8 years ago, of a heart attack he had left 2 children and his wife, he was in his 40s. Graeme sensed his wife had met someone knew and this made him unhappy. A guest sensed his surname to be Powell and so we asked but the activity ceased.

Our fun began when a Guests Mobile phone he had turned off turned back on! Ordsall Hall Ghost Hunt/Paranormal Investigation began with a promising start! The group was led to the attic, Adrian sensed some connection to a hospital, a soldier on a stretcher. In the Star Chamber Adrian sensed a Gent called Harry whom communicated that the house had been under attack. He spoke of a woman whom threw herself off the balcony this resulted in negative energy around the balcony area. A Gentleman with a Quaker type hat was following the group. Adrian said he was wearing big boots and was of Oliver Cromwell times an extreme Christian. The whole group was being effected as once they entered the Star Chamber they all began chatting. The door then shut on its own, strange as there is a button required to be pushed in order to do this. Adrian sensed the name ‘Kirby’ it was confirmed other mediums get that name too. Also Booth, this again another name mediums would get. Booth was married into the house. Richard was another name apparent. A dog was sensed in the kitchen – a cold breeze then felt by my legs. This was another thing apparent to Ordsall Hall. I had sensed the dog before.

We began our investigations with Richard Felix, in the Great Hall EMF activity was very apparent. Reaching to high yellow gauge. I felt cold air circulating again around my knees, we checked the temp it was 23 F. We walked up to the Star Chamber via Richards Springulum communication tool, Richard and the group gained contact from an 18 year old girl, unmarried from 1601-1603 Ann, Margaret & Alexander’s Sister. She was sister to Margaret whom committed suicide following her brother’s death, starving herself. Richard was excited he had contacted this lady before on the Living TV’s Most Haunted’s TV show. We all as a group returned to the Hall. Richard spoke of Margaret came through to communicate; this was the area on Most Haunted she had communicated before, she had moved the table which was a very heavy table to communicate. Her twin brother had died in 1589 and so she starved herself. We decided to do a Human Pendulum with good results. During the Human Pendulum, we gathered information from a Cecily and a Harry from the 1950’s. He had died of 8 summers (8 years old). They play with other spirit children. Cecily could sew and do tapestry. They confirmed dogs were at the hall. They claimed it was nice on the other side / astral plane. They loved being at Ordsall Hall so remained.

The group then moved to the kitchen. Here we contacted a gentleman called Richard; he had been hung as he was a Catholic! This was 400 years ago, of Oliver Cromwell’s period. Frankie saw a man stood by the Fireplace. The kitchen airing rack was moving, without any causation. A guest, Ben, saw a man enter the kitchen. Following a break we went to the Star Chamber. Richard began the group vigil using his Springulum a device Richard has created. Steve a guest had a personal communication, all was confirmed. I had taken a photograph and an Orb was seen between him and another guest was this to do with the Communicator? Kam another guest had a personal message from his little brother, Adrian had sensed him.

In the Ladies Chamber with Richard Felix and I, Richard used the Springulum. Orbs were photographed by a guest on the bed. I had seen streams of light coming up from the floor. More orbs seen by guests near the bed and window. A spirit of a Gentleman came through to communicate, not a member of the Radcliffe family he was a son of the owner aged over 21 years old. Was he a member of the Edgerton family? This was not ascertained. He had died during battle. He loved Ordsall Hall and so frequented it in spirit coming and going as he pleased. He communicated that he liked talking to us and that he liked the renovations at Ordsall Hall. He was never married. He could read and write he also claimed his father was still present in spirit at Ordsall Hall. A guest sensed his name was Alexandra.
