Ordsall Hall Ghostly goings on in Manchester - Sat 25th Feb '12

Cost : £59

Richard Felix Most Haunteds Historian and Paranormal investigator, Medium Mike Tottey and the team investigate the magnificant Ordsall Hall! Join us to Hunt for Ghostly activity throughout the night at this Historic building recorded in 1210. It has been home to medieval Gentry, Tudor Nobility, Catholics loyal to the King. An Earl has lived at Ordsall so has farmers, Butchers, priests, an artist, mill workers, and scouts. It is now owned by Salford Council. However it is apparent that others reside here still after so many years departed as Ghosts or Spirit waiting to coomunicate with the people of today!

Salford Council re opened the Hall to the public in 2011 following a 6.5 million restoration expenditure! Now parts that were not accessible are now once again open to explore, such as the attics where on my assessment I felt spikes of Energy, felt as though being watched!

Ordsall Hall has a famous ghost she is called the White Lady. This lady walks the grounds of Ordsall Hall, around the Great Hall, and the Star Chamber holding a candle. Who is the White Lady is she Queen Elizabeth I's favourite Maid of Honour, Margaret Radclyffe, who died in 1599 whom died following the death of her brother of a broken heart. Margaret loved him so much that she may possible wait for his return after battle! Maybe it is the bride, jilted at the altar of the once adjacent St Cyprian's Church. It is said she climbed the stairs to the balcony above the window in the Great Hall and jumped to her death.

Ordsall hall has online GhostCams capturing what goes on in the most haunted parts of the hall. Over 30,000 people worldwide a month watch what occurs 24hrs a day, ask friends and relatives to watch while we investigate this magnificant location.

Meet St Briavels a medieval castle that has a reputation of being one of the most haunted castles in the UK. Many phenomenons are experienced ghostly footsteps, dark shadows & mysterious lights are just a few of the daily occurrences at St Briavels Castle. On my investigation at St Briavels I encounted a dark priest strong in energy and holding many mysteries that would be evident in only your worst fears or nightmares!

The site was first fortified by the Norman lord William Fitz Baderon after he obtained the estate in 1086, the first fortification was a motte & bailey fortress which was replaced by a square stone keep sometime in the 12th century. A twin towered gatehouse, domestic buildings were added to and stately apartments were built St Briavels was then built to how its seen today in the year of 1292 by Edward I. Henry II between 1209 and 1211 spent vast amounts on building the great hall and Solar. The Hall serving as a courthouse for forest and civil offenders! King John visited St Briavels on at least 5 occasions. It was a favourite hunting lodge for the Royals.
During the medieval period Henry II made St Briavels serve as a royal administrative centre for the Forest of Dean. Within a loft area the remains of one of the hanging posts can still be found which would of protruded out of the castle to display those committed to death and left to swing from for all to see. St Briavels has had many royal visitors over the centuries, including King John, Henry II, and Edward II they used the castle as a hunting lodge during their visits to the Forest of Dean.
Some who have stayed in St Briavels have left in the middle of the night terrified by ghostly encounters! Can you stay the night!!!

Jamaica Inn, a well-known Smugglers Inn situated within the midst of Bodmin Moor since 1750. Many travellers would stay at the Inn following crossing the moor. It is Cornwall's legendary coaching house, immortalised in Daphne du Mauriers novel. This Inn was featured on Most Haunted and investigated by our Historian and Paranormal Investigator Richard Felix. It is host to Several Ghostly visitors to this day!
The Inn was used by smugglers on occasions hiding the Rum, Brandy, Tea amongst other things brought into the U.K from the Cornish and Devon Coast!
Jamaica Inn was remote and isolated proving to be the best stopping place on the way to Devon and onward. The Inn traded so much in Rum maybe the Inn was named Jamaica Inn because of that.
In 1778 the Inn was extended to include a coach house, stables and a tack room. Horses hooves have been heard by guests at the Inn maybe the Spirit of a horse also the metal of the wheels of a carriage heard on the cobbles outside in the courtyard.
