The Bishop's House which was built around 1500 is located in Meersbrook Park in the Norton Lees district of the city. Lived in by many different families until passed on to Sheffield Council in 1886 and then occupied by Council employees until 1974, the property has been the subject of many unexplained and ghostly happenings as reported by staff and visitors alike. Who is the lady in grey seen wandering around the house or looking out of an upstairs window? Can we solve the mystery of the old locked box found opened in the bed chamber when no-one present had the key (as featured by the local press)?
