FANTASTIC SUMMER GHOST HUNTS IN SOUTH YORKSHIRE
Ghost hunters in South Yorkshire have a fantastic range of venues to choose from for a summer ghost hunt with Ghost Night Events. In July we will be investigating the dark and creepy Fire and Police Museum in Sheffield with our special guest and friend Most Haunted’s Richard Felix. In August we return to the fabulously haunted Old Queen’s Head pub - also in Sheffield. On our last ghost hunt at the ancient Tudor watering hole our ghost hunters heard whistling, the sounds of coins being shaken and the disembodied voice of an old man. Will he be waiting to talk to us again? Later in the same month the team will be making a first time overnight stay at the South Yorkshire Air Museum in Doncaster where the ghostly legs of an airman have been seen to wander the original WWII hangar and icy cold hands touch the faces of visitors.
Our home for the night on the 22nd August will be the Old Punch Bowl Inn in Thorne for a first ever ghost hunt of its kind. Will we discover just what entity has caused numerous guests to flee from Room 12 and identify the sprit boy seen in the Function Room? Join us in September for an exciting event at the beautiful Gainsborough Old Hall where Henry VIII’s fifth wife Katherine Howard carried out an adulterous affair which brought about her eventual execution. This 500-year-old spectacular example of medieval history is said to be alive with ghost sightings and paranormal activity. Prepare for a scary summer !

The South Yorkshire Air Museum is housed at the former RAF Doncaster which played an important role in World War II. The original Air Ministry buildings enjoy an infamous reputation and are said to be alive with paranormal activity. Join the Ghost Night Events team as we investigate the theory that the sad souls of those killed in battle remain close to the aircraft in which their lives were so tragically cut short. Will we witness the phantom pair of legs seen walking through the hangar by a visiting paranormal group or feel the touch of icy cold hands? Prepare for a spine-tingling journey into the unexpected!

The Punch Bowl Inn in Thorne, Doncaster once provided a restful and comfortable home for local well-off families. Since converted into a welcoming pub and guest house both staff and guests alike have described a range of spooky occurrences at the property. Is the ghost of a young boy seen in the Function Room that of a former landlord's son who was tragically killed outside the property many years ago by a passing hay cart? Who or what pins guests down by the shoulders in the infamous Room 12 or switches on the shower in Room 2? Dare you spend the night trying to find out?

Join Ghost Night Events for a spine-tingling ghostly adventure as we investigate the fantastic and atmospheric Gainsborough Old Hall. The beautifully preserved 500-year old medieval manor house once received royal visits from Richard III and Henry VIII and has witnessed good fortune and celebrations but also illicit love affairs, suffering and heartbreak. Will we make contact with the lady in grey who sadly wanders the hall and once revealed a hidden doorway to a group of workmen? Perhaps we will discover just what terrified an experienced guide dog so badly that he bolted and abandoned his owner? Prepare to be scared!

This vast building is so alive with ghostly activity that during a recent visit three of us witnessed a tall, black figure crossing the stage, saw flashing lights, heard the sounds of footsteps and voices and felt the most unbelievable cold spots! With so many different ghost sightings being reported on such a regular basis the team just had to investigate.
