1. The investigation of the paranormal involves an element of personal risk and potential exposure to unexpected situations which some people may find particularly frightening and shocking. Participants must be fully capable of assuming the risks involved and should not be of a nervous disposition or suffering from a medical or psychological condition which may impact on their safe participation at the event or place them or others at risk. Any participant who is in doubt as to their suitability to attend a ghost hunting event should seek medical advice.

2. Participants must be aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be required.

3. Participants must conduct themselves in a responsible and appropriate manner and treat others with courtesy. We reserve the right to refuse entry or eject from an event without refund any participant deemed to be behaving in an unsuitable manner.

4. The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at all events unless served on licensed premises as part of a special event arranged by Ghost Night Events. We reserve the right to refuse entry or eject without refund any participant believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

5. Participants are advised to bring torches to each event and to wear warm, comfortable clothing and practical shoes or trainers.

6. In accordance with the Health Act 2006 and smoke free law smoking is not permitted inside any of our venues. Smokers will be directed to designated outdoor areas which may be used during refreshment breaks only. Naked flames or other fire hazards are strictly prohibited.

7.  Where permitted participants are welcome to use their own recording/camera equipment for private purposes only.  We regret that the use of flash photography is not allowed at some locations due to the damage which may be caused to ancient fabrics and paintings from the high ultra-violet content of unfiltered light. 8. At all times participants must follow the directions of the Ghost Night Events team and treat the property under investigation and its contents with respect and care.

9. Participants requiring disabled access are advised to telephone the Ghost Night Events office on 0845 834 0224 before making a booking as some of our events take place in ancient buildings which are subject to considerations of historical building preservation and accordingly have some areas which are un-adapted and inaccessible to visitors with disabilities.  

10. Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their own property. We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to personal property.

11. In the unfortunate event of an accident we do not accept any responsibility or liability for the death or personal injury of any participant at an event unless caused by the negligence of Ghost Night Events’ employees, representatives or agents.

12. All views expressed by clairvoyants, mediums or any other person/s attending an event are the personal opinions of the individual concerned and should not be taken as representative of the views or opinions of Ghost Night Events employees, representatives or agents.  

13. Participants must not cause a noise disturbance on leaving an event or behave in such a way that may impact upon the privacy and comfort of nearby residents.

14. Participants are reminded of the dangers of driving when sleep deprived and are advised to either book nearby accommodation after an overnight event or to make suitable alternative travel arrangements. Ghost Night Events do not accept responsibility for any accidents which may occur after an event.

 15. Ghost Night Events reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases we will endeavour to contact participants as soon as possible and provide a full refund of the booking fee.

16. Refunds are available for bookings cancelled by participants 35 days or more before the date of the event but will be subject to a 20% administration charge.  We regret that cancellations made at less than 35 days will not be entitled to a refund.

17. The information provided by participants when booking an event will remain confidential and will not be passed on to a third party except as required by law.

18. Ghost Night Events reserve the right to amend the above terms and conditions at any time.
